This is our newest 3D printer. A Creality K1C 3D printer. It's wifi based. It's a red and glass enclosed cube printer. Located in the corner of the Hack space. Purchased May 2024.

Instructions

  • PC3 is set up with the Creality Print software that lets you convert STL or model files (downloaded from printables.com for example) to printable G-code. You can also install it on your own PC and scan the network to detect the printer. The Creality software will estimate the amount of filament required for each print in grams.

Costs

  • It's approximately £20 per kg of filament. So, an average 30g print is roughly 60p (plus running/maintenance costs).
