3D Printing

We have a Creality K1C 3D printer in the Hack space in the PC Room. It's the red enclosed glass printer on the shelves on the back wall.

Most PCs in the club have Creality Print installed and set to print to the IP of the printer (192.168.1.17).

Current filament stocks (in the shelf above the printers):

How much does it cost to print?

Members are welcome to use the printers but if you are printing more than a few small items then please consider a donation towards filament and wear and tear (replacement nozzles, hot ends, belts and beds). Costs are broken down below, but roughly (exlcuding electricity) it costs around 22p per 10 grams to print.

When you are using the slicer you'll get an estimate of how many grams of filament a job will take to print.

Old Printers

We had the following other printers but gave them away as the K1C is much easier to use.
