====== Chat room ======
We use [[https://matrix.org|Matrix]] to organise our day-to-day activities in the club.  It's similar to Discord, but it's [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_source|open source]], [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-hosting_(web_services)|self hosted]] and [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fediverse|federated]].

There is a dedicated room on the glasgow.social homeserver for [[https://matrix.to/#/#gamersclub:glasgow.social|The Gamer Club]] (as well as a member only room that you should be auto invited to on joining).
